10 January 2023: Pratichi organized the closing programme of its pilot project, ‘Primary Healthcare, Skill Development, and Solar Energy: An Integrated Approach’, to facilitate capacity building and training of young people, primarily women, from minority communities, on basic solar technology, at the Amartya Sen Research Centre (ASRC) at Salt Lake, Kolkata. A discussion session was held with Pratichi’s Chair Professor Amartya Sen and other speakers on Human Capability, Nature, and Renewable Resources, Schoolteachers, students, health workers and the trainees attended this meeting.
